Service Description: This interactive small-group coaching series is designed to empower homeschool parents with the instructional strategies and child development insights necessary to curate an effective, personalized learning environment. Through a trauma-sensitive and neuro-affirming lens, this cohort helps parents identify educational barriers and implement specific accommodations that foster academic confidence within the homeschool setting. This coaching is rooted in the Connected Families framework.

Key Learning Pillars:

  • Curriculum Mapping: Evaluation of various curricula to ensure a "best-fit" match for the student’s developmental stage and cognitive needs.

  • Instructional Accommodations: Training on how to modify lessons for students with unique abilities (e.g., sensory processing, ADHD, or executive functioning).

  • Neuro-Developmental Frameworks: Utilizing the latest child development research to align teaching methods with how a child’s brain actually processes information.

  • The Learning Environment: Strategies for creating a "Safe to Learn" atmosphere, reducing school-related anxiety and increasing engagement.

What’s Included:

  • Four 1-Hour Group Sessions: Focused on collaborative problem-solving and evidence-based coaching.

  • Actionable Strategy Plans: Parents leave each session with a specific "next step" for their student’s educational plan.

  • 1:1 Integration: Participants have the option to add individualized 1:1 consultation for specific IEP/academic goal-setting at a discounted rate.

Investment:

  • Program Fee: $100.00 (Due upfront to reserve your spot in the group).

  • Fee: $50.00 (Due on the last day of service).

  • Approved Choice Navigator: Direct pay available through Step Up.
