Our Story
Amanda Kan attended a Homeschool Convention in Florida, where she felt inspired to open a Homeschool Enrichment Center. Through prayer, careful exploration, and a clear sense of purpose, Flourishing Family Academy was created. The Academy now provides homeschool enrichment classes and homeschool parent coaching.
Amanda Kan holds a degree in Christian Counseling from Johnson University and is a certified Connected Families Parent Coach. Currently the Children’s Director at North Point Christian Church, Amanda has a diverse background in education and family support. Her experience ranges from classroom teaching and disability advocacy to serving as a family consultant at a teen substance abuse center.
